PULLERS

Hydraulic jacks, splitters and extractors are widely used tools in various professional fields, because they allow the removal of bodies that are difficult to remove in an effective but delicate way.

When dealing with delicate operations, such as the extraction of damaged or rusty screws, it is very important to choose a professional mechanical extractor suitable for use. In fact, buying the wrong tool can cause serious damage, often irreversible or very expensive to repair: for this reason there are many types of screw extractors available on the market, to be chosen according to the component to be extracted and the difficulty of the operation. There are three main categories: mechanical extractors, hydraulic extractors and manual extractors. The first two categories are the ones most used at a professional level, because they are equipped with a very robust structure and allow you to make challenging extractions without too much effort. Depending on the force required to perform the extraction, you can choose two or three arms extractors, which can apply a lower or greater force and distribute it more or less homogeneously. The hydraulic extractors use a hydraulic pressure mechanism, which allows you to exercise very high forces thanks to the internal mechanism that works with oil or heat. The most common are the bearing pullers, designed to gently remove the damaged bearings so they can be repaired and reused.

Other very useful tools when it comes to extraction work are the hydraulic jacks: commonly known as hydraulic pistons or pullers, they are widely used in mechanical workshops, because they allow lifting heavy vehicles to replace the wheels or remove damaged components. There are mainly two types: bottle jacks and professional jacks. There are also models of hydraulic jacks less professional, but equally useful, essential to keep in the car: when a tire is holed, a hydraulic jack can lift the car more easily and faster than a normal jack.

Another indispensable tool in every workshop is the cracker, which is used to remove old, dirty or rusty nuts. It is an easy to use tool and, if of good quality, it can break the nuts in two parts without too much effort, allowing you to replace them quickly.

Extractors, hydraulic jacks and splitters are useful and versatile professional tools, indispensable in all workshops. If purchased high quality, allow you to quickly and cleanly remove rusty screws, damaged nuts, jammed or broken parts, avoiding to cause further damage that could be irreversible.
