Bituminous sealant SB
Sealant based on bitumen adhesive for elastic-plastic roofing applications

Support materials:
* Roofing felt
* bituminous sheaths
* Concrete and masonry
* Plastics (not on PE, PP, PTFE)
* Metals
* Glass
* Wood

Not suitable for:
* Natural stone
* Organic elastomers (EPDM, APTK, neoprene)
* Insulating panels based on polyurethane and polystyrene.

Advantages:
* It is applied cold, ready to use.
* The special formulation based on bitumen seals roofing membranes and roofing felt so safe and durable.
* Adheres even on damp surfaces and in continuous contact with water.
* Excellent resistance to weathering, aging and UV rays.
* Non-corrosive and can be used on surfaces of aluminum, copper and zinc.
* Conduct elastoplastic riagglomerante and self-healing in the event of small breaks.
* Be painted with water-based paint and solvent-based (we recommend preliminary tests)

Applications:
* Closing for roofing membranes and roofing felt
* Bonding of shingles
* Filling of crossings coverage as chimneys, shafts of light, as well as on-board connections
* Sealing of metal and plastic gutters
* Sealing ventilation around antennas and ducts

Function:
* Remove dirt from surfaces, dust, oil and rust.
* Grind or sandblast the porous surfaces. Clean glass and the solvent metal
* Cut the end of extrusion, apply the spout to the cartridge cut the tip to fit the dimensions of the joint and inserted into a dispenser for silicone Fischer KP M PLUS 2 or KP 310 M.
* Apply the adhesive tape on the edge of the joint and then the product along the same.
* Level with spatula (preferably hot).
* Remove the tape from the edges of the joint.
* Clean work tools and uncured product with a cloth dampened with mineral spirits or acetone.
* The cured product can be removed mechanically.
